waiting,we are most definately on the same wavelength!!!The stomach thing is just so weird! It takes a while to register too, dos'nt it?!Then you have a bath and look at your stomach..AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!Where does all that excess skin go? I've read you grow extra to accomodate the bump(if not you'd apparently split!!)Does it un-grow?! is that a word?you forget all this;oh, god and that alien feeling when they're really strong and having a good stretch...and you can see a foot or hand or head trying to ESCAPE.oH, But the worst was thinking 'i can have a drink now!) and then remembering i could'nt until i'd finished breast feeding- what a downer that one was; it got me every time!!!

What is a shower anyway? We don't have them in the depths of the English countryside. Do you tell of episiotomies and piles; engorged breasts and labour pains, or none of the above, to keep your mind off it all?!We (WE?!)I had 3 out of 4 at home by ourselves as the docs always think you're exaggerating when you scream 'COME NOW!' They missed them all ,much to the delight of my midwife who said they wer'nt needed anyway and would get in the way!Mind you ,she missed two as they tend to shoot out at quite a good speed.My personal best of 6 minutes is quite impressive! 'JUST BLOODY CATCH IT' is my usual phrase...and they make a fuss about vasectomies?! NOT IN THIS HOUSE! i'm OWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is a shower anyway?!We Brits don't have them; well not in the depths of the english countryside anyway! Do we tell of episiotomies and piles; engorged breasts and labour pains, or is it a party to take your mind off what's to come??!!!Had three out of four at home; by ourselves too;doctors always feel you're exagerating when you scream 'come NOW!' they missed them all; much to the delight of my midwife who told me 'they only get in the way!' Mind you; she missed two births as mine tend to shoot out at a terrific speed in minutes
(my personal best; i'm sure you will agree is an impressive 6 minutes that put me in shock and in need of a stiff drink from the midwife; amazing stuff in their bags...take a peek)It was usual for the scream of'JUST BLOODY CATCH IT' to be heard around the beautiful moment of giving birth,in answer to the usual male question of 'what shall I do?'And they complain about vasectomies???!!!not in MY house, i was owed-BIGTIME!!!! -

I Went in Field Service Yesterday!!
by Valentine ini must say i thoroughly enjoyed doing streetwork for the first time in my life!!.
it was really cold here in chicago yesterday,snow clouds looming in the sky.
about 10 am i decided to run home for my cofee break.. as i rushed down the main street,walking quickly,i saw 2 groups of jw's w/ their mags on the main street near home.. i haven't seen any around my territory since last spring.. humph i thought.. i double-timed it home,bundled up,grabbed my stacks of silentlambs posters and ran back to the main street.. i stood on the corner,several feet ahead of them and started saying hi to passers by.

how dreadfully, heart wrenchingly sad; as the society lurks here ,no doubt they'll send her some monies to help with rehab and bills.At least she has someone willing to help her, but if the willing helper is a witness the poor woman will be dependant on her for the near future and have to be trailed around every meeting as a pitiful sight till kingdom dos'nt come...
